It collects and may share or "sell" your personal, political, and voter info for targeted marketing. Before entering your details on unofficial sites, verify the operator and its data-use policies.
Also be aware of “Ready to Register.” Another Musk/America PAC-linked voter-registration effort, this private initiative has faced warnings from election officials because mailings in other states contained outdated forms, wrong info, and incorrect addresses. Some mailings were sent to already registered or deceased individuals. Ready to Register collects personal info through its website, and reports link it to America PAC.
Good rule of thumb: For matters related to your voter registration or ballot, begin with your state or county election office. If you get voter-registration mail, text, email, or QR code from another group, don't assume it's fake—verify the sender before sharing personal info or following instructions. Other voter tools can help; just know who you're sharing your info with.
